Classroom Training

Just how do we roll?

Check out the many ways we can help you get trained.

Classroom training, our way

Why leave your office just to go to another office for a class? There are definite benefits of breaking out of your daily routine and environment and meeting other people working with SharePoint. Our public courses are held at hotels in destination cities across the U.S. You can spend the day digging deep into SharePoint, then take a breather and hit the sights that night with co-workers, family, classmates, or on your own!

What to expect…

Food!

Our perspective on food is, “A well fed student is a happy student!”  It isn’t that we simply provide breakfast, lunch, and snacks for our students, the meals we offer are actually events in themselves!  We offer daily themed buffets, a large selection of beverages and all of the coffee you can consume. Meals are hosted on-site at the hotel and you can even munch while working if you so choose.

Exclusive activities!

Our instructors thrive off helping everyone attending one of our events, not just their course. Throughout the week we host activities exclusive to classroom teaching, such as:

Course materials and prerequisites

Every student will walk away with a full-color electronic student workbook.  All lecture notes and lab instructions will be included. Every student is responsible for bringing his or her own workstation (typically a laptop). Each course information page lists what software should be installed on the workstation. No worries though, the software you will need is free, available as a trial or provided by us.

Each course has a different set of prerequisites and student workstation requirements.  Please see individual course information pages, available from the course schedule, for more details.

Our Learning Management System (LMS)

You will be given access to our Learning Management System, a private web site just for SharePoint Experts students and alumni. In addition to course materials, the LMS hosts additional resources such as code files, forums for current and past students, and news from the instructor.  As alum, you will have ongoing access to the LMS and you can continue to communicate with other students and the instructor!

When class isn’t in session, questions can be posted to the LMS Course Assistance forum, which is monitored by your instructor.  You can be assured that you’ll receive all the help and guidance you would expect in an in-person class, but without leaving your desk!

Typical schedule

Classes run Monday – Friday.

On Friday class wraps up between 2:30PM and 3:00PM so you can catch same-day flights home if desired.

Travel

A discounted rate will be available for you to use at the hotel hosting our event. Book early to reserve your spot!  Check the course schedule for more information about the destination, including hotel location, airport information and local activities.
